My Journey
Grow Technologies: As a non-CEO senior leader, I learned what it takes to scale from startup to acquisition - building teams, selling product to large banks, raising capital, and prioritizing outcomes. Key lessons: Sales solves a lot, cash is oxygen, high performing cultures make hardwork feel like a lot of fun.
Conexus Venture Capital: I raised our first fund of $32M, found the portfolio companies, created the investment memos, and guided the founders after investment (generally as a Board Member, Board Observer). I worked closely with founders to help them scale the business, build their teams, and raise their next financing. At the time of leaving, the fund was in the top quartile for TVPI, IRR, and DPI.
Emmertech: As the Managing Director, I was a key driver in raising our $60M fund, focused on agtech. I departed Emmertech at the end of our deployment period to help save TechBrew Robotics (now 4AG Robotics).
4AG Robotics: As the CEO, we raised over $60M in equity as we grew from a small prototype that struggled to harvest mushrooms in our test facility, into a company that was harvesting millions of mushrooms every month on farms scattered across 3 continents. Here I learned the nuances around how to be a CEO, and the path to building a global company in the physical AI space.
Forge: Building global leading robotics companies is not a clean, theoretical exercise. It happens under hear, pressure and endless constraints. I named this little consultancy project Forge, because it reflects the kind of work I want to be doing - hard work, navigating difficult decisions, and building the best possible outcomes while we deal with immense heat and pressure.

Let’s roll up our sleeves together and figure out how to drive growth. I’ll work directly with you to sharpen your messaging, build repeatable sales processes, and figure out how to get customers to take that leap of faith with you. My core focus is working with hardware, robotics, and physical AI companies.
Whether you’re selling your first pilot, landing your first enterprise customer, or trying to scale beyond founder-led sales, I’ll help you build a GTM engine that drives hyper-growth.

I’ll work directly with you to build your investor pipeline, structure a fundraising process designed to create competitive tension, and help you build the pitch deck, data room, and materials needed to get multiple term sheets.
In this role, I can be either a light-touch, behind-the-scenes advisor, or an active behind-the-scenes analyst that builds your data room documents.
One of the hardest parts of being a CEO is fundraising while still running the business. It’s time-consuming, emotionally draining, and easy to get wrong.
I’ll help reduce that burden and work closely with you on execution.
One note: I do not play the role of a investment banker. Pre Series C, Investors don't want to see investment bankers in the proces.
Boutique investment banker → sells you fish.
Me → teaches you how to fish, and sits in the boat next to you.

This is my lightest-touch way of working with founders.
We meet on a scheduled basis and I serve as a sounding board throughout the often lonely journey of being a startup CEO. Whether it’s board pressure, tough people decisions, fundraising, customer drama, or strategy - I’m here to help you think clearly, move faster, and lead with confidence.
